MORECAMBE

Grace Ministries

Grace Ministries is Gateway Community of House Churches local outreach hub in the West End of Morecambe.  The tag line is Christian help in the Community.   We love to meet people and to help in any way we can.  We do this from our shop front premises on Yorkshire Street in Morecambe.

We offer a safe place for people to drop in for a free hot drink and biscuit, to have a chat and meet with others from the local community.  There is always someone on hand to offer a listening ear.  We are also able to offer practical help with food parcels and clothing.  If we are not able to help we can signpost to other local charities or organisations.

We keep prices in our Charity shop to a minimum so as everything is affordable to everyone.

The River of Life Prayer Centre is also run from Grace Ministries where we  offer prayer to anyone who may be open to it.   We have a quiet, peaceful, private room where we can talk with people and pray with them and for them.

Grace Ministries also hosts a Christian library, situated in our small prayer room, where we offer a book exchange service to local Christians.

AFRICA

Maranatha Christian Outreach Ministries

Maranatha Christian Outreach Ministries (MCOM) is a UK registered charity working primarily in the Kailahun District of Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Ali and Lorraine Patience who are members of Gateway Community of House Churches were living in Kailahun, while there, they worked with Leaders and Pastors of local churches and saw their heart to reach out with the Gospel message to those living in remote villages and communities.  Ali and Lorraine felt prompted by the Lord to help and so MCOM was born.

They help to facilitate the evangelical work of local churches in the Kailahun district.

Physical wellbeing is also very important and when made aware of physical or practical needs MCOM responds as the Holy Spirit leads and as the Lord provides.

Working together to reach out with the love of  Jesus.
