Our church was founded in 1984 and was originally know as Morecambe Bay Christian Fellowship. We owe where we are today to the goodness of God and the faithfulness of many of His children, both past and present.

 

We began in a home is Heysham under the leadership of David and Shirley McEwen. As we grew, we gradually moved premises into three larger locations, eventually making our home in the Post Office Buildings on Market Street, Morecambe.  We remain forever grateful for the work David and Shirley put into establishing the church over many years.

 

The church is now under the leadership of John & Carole Clayton and Ali & Lorraine Patience. In August 2021, after hearing clearly from the Lord, Gateway Church Morecambe, moved from traditional congregational style worship to House Church. We meet in homes in and around Morecambe. We come together every 4 weeks as Gathered Church.
